Weekend Adventure #1

Friday: Dinner with friends at Red Lobster since they still have that $18 for a 4 course meal promo.  Yum!  Then went to watch "Haywire" which was like the Bourne Identity with a female lead.  Not bad..

Saturday: Slept in.  Played Monopoly. I won, btw.

Sunday: Costco! and the mall.

Finally saw the Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush at my Shoppers :)

Overall, I like my nude lipsticks to be more of a lustre finish than a matte one just because the matte ones just make me look like a total zombie.  When I really want a strong nude lip, then I layer MAC's Etcetera first just because it's a pro longwear then the lipstick on top.  If you're just venturing into nude lipsticks, I would suggest WnW just because of the price and texture.  Can't beat $1.99!

A "Winning" Buy

Because I bought these at Winners this past weekend.. har! har!

I told myself that I won't buy any bags because I wanted to save up and get the Rocco bag.  But then I saw this Nine West bag and I thought it's a nice practical, everyday cross body bag and it was only $49.99 (original price $135).  I saw a brown version of it before and it was kinda meh.. Then I saw this taupey grey one and I couldn't help myself (spoken like a true bag-aholic).  I like the carabiner closure, the gold details (the zipper pulls were also shaped like a stiletto and a purse) and how the inside reminds me of a Celine Triptyque bag with the 3 compartments.  I, of course, would someday love love love to own the actual Celine bag :)

For now, this will do.
** P.S. I think I'll do a "what's in my purse?" post one of these days.. Hmm.. **

I also saw this Co-Lab bag on clearance for $14 (retail price $60).  I know it looks similar to the Longchamp Le Pliage bags which is maybe why I was drawn to it.  This one is also made of some nylon(?) material and can also be folded (although not as compact as the Longchamp one).  Their main difference is that this Co-Lab one has a strap which I thought would be even more perfect for travelling.  And the inside was yellow (which is my favourite colour).

And my last random purchase are these wall stickers.  What can I say?? I love owls and cupcakes.

Rimmel's Glam'eyes HD quad eyeshadow in 002 English Oak ($7.49)

The quality of this quad was surprisingly nice.  My only gripe was besides the cross colour, the other 3 shades were really hard to get into, they're super narrow.

Super excited to see the Kate Moss Rimmel lipsticks at my Superstore.  I wasn't sure if we were gonna get them in Canada so yay!!
