Besides makeup, another one of my shopping loves are purses :)
I prefer investing more money with purses because with good care, they can last a long time and even appreciate in value when reselling.
However, someone as fickle-minded as I am, I cannot justify spending more than $500 on a bag because I like to switch my purses every now and then. So a $2000 Celine or $5000 Chanel is just not practical for me. I like to apply the whole "pay per use" method when shopping so at the moment, I can only afford bags from contemporary labels and not the super high-end ones.
Recently, I am just lovin the styles and colours that MK came out with. Especially with a durable leather like the saffiano, I know the bags will stand the test of time.

Michael Kors Selma Colorblock Saffiano Satchel in Pink and Black - $298
Here are my 2 Selmas. One was a limited edition released over the summer. It's the medium pink and black colourblock. And oh man, she is a beaut! The pink is just so vibrant and I always receive compliments when I wear it out. I didn't think that I was a pink person but she is just gorgeous in real life.
The messenger one is a new release with the grommets instead of the stud detail. I also love this mini bag. It is actually quite spacious inside. However.. I decided to return it because I felt that I already had a couple of black bags with silver hardware (ie. this one).
Michael Kors Chelsea Small Messenger Bag in Black - $278
(Got on sale for $149 :D)
So I made a decision to wait until Spring 2014 and hope that MK releases a more fun and unique grommet colour.

Michael Kors Bedford Gusset Crossbody Bag in Navy - $198
So I exchanged it for this puppy. The MK Bedford Gusset bag. It's quite a dupe for the Celine trio except the pouches are not detachable from one another. I am a sucker for compartments, zippers and dividers so this is right up my alley. It's perfect for travel, quick errands, a night out and plenty more.
Well this was fun. I think I might do more bag reviews and reveals in the future.
